Eight years ago, I was drowning in my own life.
I had everything I thought I wanted: a meaningful career, two teenage boys I adored, a growing podcast, and the privilege of caring for my aging mother. But I woke up every morning with a knot in my stomach and the persistent thought: “I can’t keep doing this.”
The worst part? I didn’t want to give anything up. Every responsibility mattered. Every commitment had value. So when well-meaning friends told me to “just do less” or “learn to say no,” I felt even more trapped.
That’s when I discovered what I now call the Still Point Method—a way to transform not what you’re doing, but how you feel while doing it. Instead of fighting your full life, you learn to find calm within it.
